POLLTION

 INDUSTRY POLUTION

  • Air Pollution: The release of pollutants like carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter into the atmosphere. Major sources include vehicles, industrial activities, and burning of fossil fuels. Air pollution can cause respiratory problems, climate change, and harm to ecosystems.

  • Water Pollution: Contamination of water bodies such as rivers, lakes, oceans, and groundwater by harmful substances like chemicals, plastic waste, sewage, and heavy metals. Water pollution affects drinking water sources, aquatic life, and public health.

  • Soil Pollution: The degradation of the land through the presence of hazardous chemicals, waste materials, and other contaminants. Industrial activities, agriculture (pesticides and fertilizers), and improper waste disposal are key contributors to soil pollution.

  • Noise Pollution
: Unwanted or harmful sound levels that disrupt normal life. Sources include transportation, industrial activities, and urban development. Prolonged exposure can affect human health and wildlife.

  • Light Pollution
: Excessive or misdirected artificial light that interferes with natural darkness, affecting both human health (such as sleep disorders) and wildlife.
